Can hygienic cladding be fitted over existing tiles?
Sometimes. The existing tiled surface needs to be assessed before a decision is made.
What needs checking?
Tiles should be sound, clean, dry and sufficiently stable for the proposed system. Loose tiles, movement, damp or uneven areas may need remedial work or removal first.
Why a survey matters
The installation method depends on the existing surface, the specified panel system and the manufacturer's instructions. A survey helps identify preparation, trims, corners and access requirements.
Documentation and standards
We install to the manufacturer's specification and supply documentation. Any required standard, including BS EN 13501-1, should be checked against the specified product and project requirements.
